Vision and Mission

A publicity and service-oriented organization, district information of the Department of Mass Communication, under the Ministry of Information. The activities of this department extend to grassroots. The main objectives of this department are to inform, educate and motivate the government policies, programs, various development activities, improve the quality of life and health and social issues.

The responsibility of giving public information and response to the government in the form of feedback is the responsibility of the Department of Mass Communication. By making people aware of the social and economic issues and the inter-personal or direct communication process against the people, the Directorate has created a bridge between the people and the government.

With the implementation of advocacy program, this department has now been upgraded to one of the public service organizations.
